Dunglass Estate is a rural venue in East Lothian located approximately a 10 minute drive from the town of Dunbar.

Train

The nearest train station to the venue is Dunbar, with direct trains from Edinburgh Waverley.

For those travelling from London, there is also the option of taking the east coast line directly to Dunbar from Kings Cross (via Newcastle).

Plane

If flying, we recommend arriving into Edinburgh Airport and then getting a train from Edinburgh Waverley to Dunbar. You can easily transfer from Edinburgh Airport to Edinburgh Waverley via tram or bus.

Car

If driving, Dunbar can be accessed via the A1 from Edinburgh in the the west or from Newcastle in the south. There are also plenty of hire car options available from Edinburgh Airport.

As the venue is rural, if you are not staying within walking distance, we strongly recommend booking taxis (to and from) the venue in advance.

Please allow plenty of time to get to the venue, aiming to arrive at 1:30pm for the Ceremony to begin promptly at Dunglass Collegiate Church at 2pm.

For those who wish to drive, parking is available at the venue. Please ensure you have a designated driver if you are planning on driving (drink driving laws are zero tolerance in Scotland).

Whether you stay in the town of Dunbar or one of the rural villages nearby there are plenty of options.

We recommend staying either in Dunbar (good for taxis) or somewhere within walking distance of the venue.
